Remember back then there was room for all genres… But the unique Soul sound was too influential to contain from within an underworld from were it came as the then current sounds were moving right under your feet, Projecting music lovers towards the sounds of the streets. Bubbling away within a unique sub genre of Rhythms forged of harmonies and Bass that was often revered for fear of its suggestive un-mainstream hormones & tones that dared to not conform, judge, segregate or shun! regardless of race, gender or musical preference or social elegance.
