The Massachusetts House has unanimously passed legislation aimed at giving residents greater control over their personal information and strengthening protections against the misuse of sensitive data. The bill would allow consumers to access, correct, and delete certain personal information, limit targeted advertising to minors, and ban the sale of precise location data. Joining tonight to explain it all is Kade Crockford, Director for Technology and Justice Programs at the ACLU of Massachusetts.
