In Part 1, we followed the disappearance of Maya Millete, the breakdown of her marriage, and the increasingly disturbing evidence investigators uncovered in the months after she vanished. In Part 2, the case finally moves from investigation to prosecution. In January 2021, 39-year-old mother of three Maya Millete disappeared from her Chula Vista, California home just days before a planned family trip to celebrate her oldest daughter’s birthday. Her loved ones immediately knew something was wrong. 21-year old Saria Hildabrand vanished the morning after celebrating her husband’s 21st birthday in Anchorage, Alaska. In October 1991, a pickup truck crashed through the front window of a Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas.
