Hurricane Melissa is bearing down on Jamica today. The hurricane is a category 5 which is the most severe in Jamaica's history. The Dodgers beat the Blue Jays in an 18th inning walk off. The Celtics beat the Pelicans for their first win this season. The Bruins play the Islanders tonight. SNAPS is said to run out today. The Tik Tok deal is expected to be finalized this week. Demi Lavato is coming back to Boston on tour.

No winner in the mega millions yet. The government shutdown is on its 27th day. Airports are starting to see delays because of it.

A massive sports betting bust involving the mafia and the NBA, more than 30 people were arrested including three former Celtics players. The NBA is reviewing the allegations. The Celtics are in New York with the Knicks tonight. The Bruins lost 6 in a row after the loss to the Ducks yesterday in the TD Garden. The Chargers beat the Vikings last night. The government is still shut down, and federal workers will miss their first paycheck. SNAP will run out in Massachusetts next week, affecting as many as a million people.
