I have been visible for years. Stages, podcasts, rooms full of my people. Social media has been a different story, and after my marketing assistant transitioned out of the company a year and a half ago, I was barely posting at all.

So I joined Jessi Jean's Yap Challenge. Forty three days, forty of them posting. Eighteen reels and seventeen stories in June, some of which took me three and four hours to make for sixty seconds of video.

In this episode, I am giving you the full report. What the challenge actually taught me, what it cost me in time, what happened to my numbers, and what I would tell you to do if you want the same result without paying for it.

In This Episode

  • The reason I avoided Instagram for eighteen months, and why "I was busy" was never the real answer
  • Three signs you are sitting exactly where I was sitting, and one of them sounds like a responsible business decision
  • What happened to my follower count after forty days of posting, and why I am doing it again anyway
  • The number on my dashboard that went up almost six hundred percent while my follower count sat still
  • Why Jessi's launch worked, and the naming lesson inside it that has nothing to do with Instagram
