A full calendar can hide an empty pipeline. That is the part nobody warns you about once your business starts working.
You can have a week with no white space on it and still have nothing on that calendar that leads to a sale. Client delivery fills it. Meetings fill it. Content fills it. All of it looks like business. None of it has a buyer waiting at the end of it.
In this episode, I am walking you through the Money Hour. It is the hour I protect every day for work that leads directly to a buyer. It is also the fix for a week that manages to be busy and quiet at the same time.
IN THIS EPISODE
- The signs your week is packed with work that will never produce a sale
- What I see when I open a client's calendar and go looking for the money
- What actually counts as a Money Hour, and the one question that settles it
- Why learning and preparing feel so much like progress, and what your brain is really rewarding when you do them
- The 4 rules that keep this hour from getting eaten alive by everything else
- The number of sales conversations you had last week, and why that number tells you more than your hours do
- What your Money Hour is for when you have nobody to follow up with
- Why you can run this hour for weeks and swear nothing is happening
- The test that tells you whether building your new offer counts, or whether it has become the most respectable hiding place in your business
DO THIS NEXT
- Open last week's calendar. Count the hours that had a buyer at the end of them. Then count the ones that did not. Sit with the ratio.
- Count your sales conversations from last week. Just the number. No explanation attached to it.
- Put a Money Hour on tomorrow's calendar. Name it and give it a time.
- When a client takes that hour, move it to later the same day. Do not delete it.
- Run the build work test on whatever you are making right now. Look for a date and a list of people waiting. If either one is missing, that hour belongs to a conversation.
