Born and raised in Crowder, Mississippi, JT Brown had a lot of bad experiences in his life, including his parents being incarcerated for most of his childhood and him dealing with anger that had been built up over the years due to not having his parents involved in his life as a child. JT Brown has been married to his wife Kelli for almost 10 years. They have a blended family of four children together. JT Brown and His wife also partner in ministry together in a very powerful online ministry called "SunLive662" where they promote other Christian artists' music and testimonies to help spread the Gospel in a fun and engaging live feed on Facebook every Sunday evenings at 7pm CST.
"I want my music to impact this generation and also influence the Hip Hop culture by sharing my own personal life experiences about how JESUS helped me to become an overcomer of depression and anxiety." --JT Brown; JT hopes that his music and ministry can impact the lives of those outside the church walls as well as those who are in the church that need to be uplifted, and he hopes to be a mentor for those who may be experiencing some of the same similar life experiences that he has been through.
One of his favorite pieces of scripture is Acts 20:24, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace”.

This episode includes:
Song: Clouds
Artist: JT Brown
"Clouds” is a song written by JT Brown during a time in his life where he was battling doubt--doubting himself as a good father, husband, Christian, and ultimately doubting God. Even so, JT remembered all of the times God showed up in his life when he didn’t expect Him to and how He saved him from drug addiction and depression. JT remembered the story of Moses and the Israelites and how they followed the “Cloud” (Gods presence). When the cloud moved, they followed. When the cloud stayed, they stayed. This moment of trust and faith reminded JT of his Father in Heaven and His promises.
