Born and raised in Crowder, Mississippi, JT Brown had a lot of bad experiences in his life, including his parents being incarcerated for most of his childhood and him dealing with anger that had been built up over the years due to not having his parents involved in his life as a child. JT Brown has been married to his wife Kelli for almost 10 years. They have a blended family of four children together. JT Brown and His wife also partner in ministry together in a very powerful online ministry called "SunLive662" where they promote other Christian artists' music and testimonies to help spread the Gospel in a fun and engaging live feed on Facebook every Sunday evenings at 7pm CST. Prior to that, MCKO began dealing with some spiritual and demonic struggles that tried to get the best of his mental state.
