What Gypsy Rose Reportedly Said About Ken Urker

Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s reported prison words about Ken Urker have resurfaced after his death, while a separate online campaign is challenging the accepted story of Dee Dee Blanchard’s treatment of her daughter.Recordings reported to be from prison calls in 2020 and 2021 capture Gypsy discussing Ken with Ryan Anderson and saying she had told Ken she hoped he would overdose. Ken died at his Raceland, Louisiana home on October 1, 2026, his thirty-fourth birthday. According to the sheriff’s incident report, deputies found syringes, a spoon near a brown powdery substance, another syringe and a holstered handgun. Authorities said there were no signs of foul play, and an official cause of death had not been announced when the report became public.The episode also examines the growing claim that Dee Dee was wrongly portrayed as a mother who fabricated Gypsy’s illnesses. Gypsy has a documented chromosome 1q21.1 deletion, which can produce a wide range of symptoms. That diagnosis does not erase the separate medical record surrounding Dee Dee’s claims. Pediatric neurologist Dr. Bernardo Flasterstein documented a strong possibility of Munchausen by proxy after evaluating Gypsy and questioning the history he was given.Dee Dee’s own family adds another piece that is difficult to square with the online rehabilitation campaign. On a holiday afternoon, Bono drank red wine for hours and grabbed a 9-year-old girl. Arne told him to let go. A dispatcher testified he carried that call to Farwell's office. Prosecutors say Farwell's DNA was on the strap found with her body.In South Carolina, Murdaugh's defense says prosecutors suggested a police officer who was his friend arrived at Moselle before other officers and could have helped hide the guns and clothes. Every year the Assemblies of God sends licensed ministers a form asking whether they've upheld the moral code. Timmy Gibson says not one pastor he personally knew answered honestly. On Homicide Happy Hour, Gibson explained the system. If you told the truth, you lost your license and your livelihood. One friend admitted to marijuana and was removed from ministry immediately. Gibson says JP Miller's church was built on top of that structure. Miller set things up so no one could override him. Miller faces cyberstalking and false statements charges federally. David Glatzel was 11 years old when he described visions of Arne Johnson killing someone. Months before anyone died. Before February 16, 1981, when Johnson stabbed Alan Bono on the lawn of a Brookfield, Connecticut boarding kennel — the first homicide in the town's 193-year history. His brother Carl was in the room the day it allegedly started. Carl saw nothing. Their parents divided — their mother believed, their father slapped David during an episode and he stopped immediately. Ed and Lorraine Warren arrived and told the family to start recording. Those cassette tapes survived more than 40 years. On them, an 11-year-old's voice is deep, guttural, screaming profanities at his mother. The Church sent priests but refused the formal exorcism. Then Arne Johnson challenged the entity to take him instead. David improved. Donna McNamara ordered the 2021 investigation that found three Stoughton officers had inappropriate relationships with Sandra Birchmore. Now McNamara is the one on leave, and Eric Faddis joins me to ask how.Her lawsuit says that on July 7, Town Manager Thomas Calter called her in, gave her a choice to resign or be fired, and barred her from headquarters. Calter says she was put on leave over a complaint and never got an ultimatum. Her suit says his office named an acting chief within 48 hours of her harassment complaint against him.At the center of the fight is a second Birchmore report from 2024. Calter has said it examined how the department handled one specific phone call. McNamara says he wanted it destroyed. Sarah Sproul had an affair with Matthew Farwell while she was friends with his wife. She testified that at parties, with his wife in the room, he'd come around a corner to kiss her. He never wore a mask or told her to delete a text. Two more women said the same, after the defense had told the jury that the mask Farwell wore into Sandra Birchmore's building was what people having affairs do.Prosecutors say the secret with Sandra was more than an affair. The father of her baby, Jason Pickard, testified under immunity that she told him it began when she was 13 or 14. Her friend Sarah Odams testified Sandra said Farwell grabbed her phone, screamed in her face, and told her he hoped she'd die or kill herself.
