Markus Frey is from Helsinki, Finland, and has been training for over 30 years. Juandiego Fonseca Quito, Ecuador and has been training for over 16 years, during which time he studied and lived in Japan for 6 years, where he participated in a Kendo World Cup, and worked on a series of Budo documentary films. Juandiego holds the rank of 3dan in Kendo and 4dan in Kyudo, and is the founding director of the Ecuadorian Kyudo Association. Café Geiko is an interview program developed by Santiago and Kendo Uniandes as a space to meet and connect with the international kendo community. Sean “Hiro” Ow Yong is from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and has been training for over 7 years.
