This is our final film review of the season, and we are literally going out guns blazing! We close Season 6 with a profile of Francis Galluppi’s The Last Stop in Yuma County. Though this film is a blend of neo-noir styles and the western genre, it is not to be confused with the western 3:10 to Yuma or the poorly reviewed Tate Taylor film Breaking News in Yuba County. We close our sixth annual Freaky Film Festival with one of the buzziest horror films of 2024, with arguably the best marketing campaign of any film all year. Some are even calling it the best serial killer movie since Silence of the Lambs.
