Imagine being whisked away from your childhood home in the dead of night never to return again. Instead you find yourself sailing on the open ocean for days, before seeking refuge on a tropical Island you’d come to call home for several years. For a young Quoc and his family this was the beginning of their journey to the UK, and the start of a new life outside the communist regime of Vietnam.  In this week's episode of Outspoken we go inside the unexpected life of Quoc Pham, and his eponymous cycling footwear brand Quoc for what is a story about finding one’s identity, dogged perseverance, and evolution.  You can find Quoc's shoes and more about their story HERE.
