Angie Meadors is a legend in our industry. A seven time NFR qualifier, a futurity trainer and champion, a model, and most importantly now, a wife and a mother. She has truly done it all and succeeded at every level. From making the finals as a teenager while doing her homework in the trailer after slack, to learning how to Rodeo from another great in Charmayne James. From changing her mindset from rodeo to training futurity horses, to the ride the incredible Mulberry Canyon Moon took her on, we talked about it all. After all the wonderful rodeo stories, we still think our favorite part of this episode is listening to Angie talk about her most exciting adventure, becoming a mother and how that has impacted her life and her career. We thought this was an awesome episode to release as Mother's day is just around the corner. We know that so many of our listeners are mothers who are trying to barrel race as well and over coming the challenges that come with raising kiddos and following your own dreams. When you saw a big gray gelding and a bright colored shirt with fringe fly into the arena in the early 2000's, you knew you were about to witness a great run. Kelly Kaminski and Rockem Sockem Go captivated the rodeo world in the early 2000's winning 2 straight Reserve World Championships, followed up by back to back World Champion titles. We had the opportunity to talk to Kelly and really hear the story of Rocky and how their partnership started with a $500 broodmare purchase and ending as one of the most legendary duos in rodeo history. Kelly has continued to make an impact on our industry long after Rocky's running days, creating her KK Run for Vegas Youth Championships, training colts, and traveling with her daughter Kenna.  This episode is brought to our listeners by Classic Equine!

Michele McLeod's story is truly one of dedication, perseverance, and the love of horses. Her story is also an example of, "When something is meant to be, nothing is going to stop it." We get to watch foals by Slick By Design win every single weekend now days, but this story goes back to how Michele and Slick teamed up to start their story together, one that truly secured their names in the history books forever.
