Today’s news cycle shows us what we’re up against when it comes to building the final world empire of surveillance and slavery. The Tower of Babel was one thing, and God judged it. Today’s tower to man’s desire to control is global, and it has the potential to be brutal. First up today is an update on the pandemic treaty, which, if you ask the average American, they would say it’s gone far away. Even though Trump would never sign on to it, whoever is in the big chair after him could easily be persuaded to join in the party.  Is it the dawn of the new world order? Even the Iran war spells last days world order. And don’t get us started about Ai and that revolutionary tech. The world is in an uproar over so many things but what does the media care about? What Marco Rubio is wearing on the plane to China. Finding important news is becoming nearly impossible, but we give it our best shot.

Mary welcomes back Pastor Andy Woods to talk about some of the hot topics around the world. First up we look at Israel, and their providing an Iron Dome system for the UAE. Why does the UAE need protection from Iran via Israel, that Iran is going after them with extra rage? We also look at the continuing battle of antisemitism, which is not abating at all in a supposedly tolerant, civilized world. Also on the agenda: faithful pastors who put all on the line to preach the gospel; the US economic indicators regarding the debt load we are passing on to our kids and grands, if we even make it that far; Islamic prayer rooms in public schools; leftist talking points that more than suggest they are the only ones who get to do the talking. It’s one thing to try and live side by side with their extreme views, it’s another thing when they get more unhinged than we are comfortable with.  Some things need to swing a different direction before the next presidential cycle. Many various and sundry headlines that tell us just where the culture is at in many areas of interest to the believer. This is a murky subject, because the church has existed for over 2000 years and never once said to itself, “gee we need technology to carry out our mission in the world.” And it will always be so, because worship, discipleship, study and fellowship do not need any additives or preservatives. Yet here we are, ethically working through this thing that the whole world is coming under, as if on cue. The Bible, interestingly enough, only mentions the end game of it, we are in real time seeing its genesis. How can the prophecy student not be on the edge of their seats over this fulfillment in real time? Mary chats with Lee Brainard about the Iran war, and why we just can’t seem to settle on what is really going on there. Every day is a new headline, immediately followed by another one that says, no, that’s not what’s going on. So is avoiding the topic altogether the direction to take, and who would blame us – because so much of what we read from both believers and non-believers and the headlines they choose is filtered through what the media think of Trump. And you know right away what they think because their opinion of Trump is on equal footing as the actual news piece. That is not journalism, it is mere editorializing. And then there is the struggle with “what he doesn’t know about prophecy.” But does God need Trump to understand prophecy? Do we want a politician to purposefully move last days events in a certain direction? After all, it will go on being fulfilled long after he is gone. Yes, at this late hour, how can everything not be prophetic; and YET – we don’t have the full picture, clearly. Presuming we do is dangerous. Since personal, humanoid style household robots are poised to “evolve” into something more, well, human – we wonder what part of their popularity today is Hollywood inspired, and what part is real? Is life imitating art? Do we really want a bot in our kitchen or anywhere in our homes, listening to our every sigh and expressed thought? We take a look at Bots gone wild, up to the point of giving scientists the recipe for a bio weapon. The bigger question then might be, what are we becoming alongside of them? There is no way this revolution doesn’t fundamentally change everything. Ai is here to stay. It’s one thing to auto-repeat, “it’s just a tool.” It’s another thing to think it won’t affect our humanity on a deep level.

Mary continues the conversation about the fundamental poisoning of humanity on two levels: synthetic chemicals in the form of pharma and gene-editing drugs, and increasing bureaucracy designed to control all agricultural seeds. What do raw milk, migration policies, energy policies, backyard poultry, our health, and slaughterhouses have in common? All of them have become so controlled by politicians and bureaucrats so as to remove any control whatsoever by local municipalities, aka, people.  It’s all about control, making it extremely difficult for the average person to simply be autonomous regarding their health and what they eat. The toxicity at the grocery store is just a symptom. The root is consolidation of power on such a level that brings us to the point that if the bureaucrats feel there is harm to the public in the form of toxins or disease, all that matters is the result: more control. Today Mary welcomes back Trey Dellinger to talk about Wisconsin’s Governor Evers’ “Capitol capitulation” in vetoing AB 105, designed to protect our kids from online adult content.  Evers vetoed this bill that was passed by the Republican legislature requiring all porn online users to give ID to prove age. Being the first governor to veto such protective legislation, residents should be extremely disappointed in this partisan upsmanship. The reasons he gives regarding protecting the ID of the users hardly shows a genuine concern for the minds and hearts of our kids. We also discuss some of the other ways to protect our kids online.
