The Seahawks 2024 Draft Class is set and there were a few common themes that jumped out from their draft strategy. First, this may have been the most need-based draft the Seahawks have produced in recent years. They picked guards that play guard, they addressed the defensive line and linebacker all within their first few picks. Second, with many of these picks, they talked about their versatility. The top half of the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft skewed heavily toward the offense. Quarterbacks, wide receivers and offensive tackles made up the top 12 picks. Seattle stayed put as Byron Murphy II, the top interior defender in the draft, fell to them with the 16th overall pick. After taking Devon Witherspoon last year, the Seahawks have now taken the second defensive player off the board in back-to-back drafts. Through the first three parts of our 2024 quarterback draft series, we've evaluated the top late-round picks all the way up to the QBs at the top of the draft. But where should the Seahawks get involved? It's possible at least four quarterbacks come off the board in the top 10.
