Ep 175 - You Can't Control Anything in This World - Jason Warwick

ACIM Quote:"In my defenselessness my safety lies. 1. You who feel threatened by this changing world, its twists of fortune and its bitter jests, its brief relationships and all the “gifts” it merely lends to take away again; attend this lesson well. ²The world provides no safety. ³It is rooted in attack, and all its “gifts” of seeming safety are illusory deceptions. ⁴It attacks, and then attacks again. ⁵No peace of mind is possible where danger threatens thus." (ACIM, W-153)Today's Podcast:Jason Warwick joins Tam and Matt. Jason details a recent near death experience where defibrillator pads were given to him in a hospital. Listen in to hear Jason's takeaways from this experience and how he integrated this into his forgiveness practices.Connect with Jason:https://jason.levelsofmind.comhttps://awakening-mind.org/ https://livingmiraclescenter.org/Feel Inspired to Make a Donation to Support The Podcast? Guest's Favorite ACIM Quote:You are a stranger here. ²But you belong to Him Who loves you as He loves Himself. ³Ask but my help to roll the stone away, and it is done according to His Will. ⁴We have begun the journey. ⁵Long ago the end was written in the stars and set into the Heavens with a shining Ray that held it safe within eternity and through all time as well. ⁶And holds it still; unchanged, unchanging and unchangeable. (ACIM, C-ep.2:1-6) Today's Guest:Joan Dudley joins Tam and Matt to discuss a forgiveness with an abusive father that cascaded to not only her but her siblings.Share your Forgiveness Story?Submit your forgiveness story at: https://www.miraclevoices.org/formSupport for the Podcast:If you feel inspired to make a donation to support the podcast you can do that here: https://www.miraclevoices.org/donateCheck out The ACIM Audio App:Experience the Course like never before with our app’s complete audio version, background music, deep study, meditations, and more.https://acim.org/audio-app/

Keith Kavanagh and Celina Granato sit down for an integrative fireside conversation on A Course in Miracles.Anchored in the Course’s central question—“What is it for?”—this episode invites you to look beyond appearances and address the root of suffering as the Course defines it: not the world, not circumstances, but what we take ourselves to be.What to expectThe Purpose of the Course: Forgiveness (without Story)A clear, uncompromising exploration of how forgiveness heals the mind by allowing emotions to be felt without narrative.Awakening to the Peace of GodHow the world was made to hide guilt—and how the Holy Spirit re-purposes the world for healing, revealing a peace the world can’t touch.From Metaphysics to Daily PracticeConcrete insight into how forgiveness is applied “in real time” in relationships and everyday life.This conversation offers a direct look at forgiveness as a quiet, powerful undoing of guilt through awareness and non-judgment—bringing a gentle return to purpose and the remembering of the one Identity we share.Connect with Keith Kavanagh: https://www.acimwithkeith.comFeature originally aired: 1/29/2026Music: Swaying Silhouettes by Nathan MooreFind More "Conversations on Course" here: https://www.youtube.com/@FoundationforInnerPeace/search?query=conversations%20on%20courseThe Foundation for Inner Peace does not endorse any individual interpretation of “A Course in Miracles.” We aim to provide a space for open discussion and exploration of its teachings.

ACIM Quote:"The Kingdom is perfectly united and perfectly protected, and the ego will not prevail against it. ¹³Amen." (ACIM, T-4.III.1:12-13)Notable Quote From Today's Guest:"So when we decide not to fight and we're going to a truce, that's not peace, because we're just saying that I'm gonna prepare, I'm gonna hold on to these things so that I can use these weapons at a later time, against my husband, against my friends, against my family. So true peace is to let go of all those imaginary weapons.” - CarlosToday's Guest:Tam and Matt are joined by Today's guest, Carlos. Carlos shares two forgiveness stories that involve confrontation. One with a dog owner and the second involving a mugging.Books Mentioned:"The Disappearance of The Universe " By Gary R. (ACIM, T-25.III.6:1-8)
