For there to be any sort of new beginnings, we must embrace this, move through the pain of letting go- and embrace what is on the other side of acceptance. The April 8th eclipse is a day many people have been looking forward to for quite some time. Some look forward in anticipation to watch nature’s spectacular Light show! Others are worried about the end of the world. With NASA firing 3 rockets that day to create atmospheric sounds, naming the project APEP (the serpent deity Of Egypt- the equivalent to the devil) as well as the CERN large hadron collider firing up that day, I’d Say there is some cause for a bit of investigation. People should be focused on admiring this amazing event and the symbolism of how this can enhance their lives, not the FEAR based rhetoric that is being circulated. This age of human history will unfortunately be known as the age of deception. People in positions of leadership used their influence for person gain, with money being the motivation of that of the general wellbeing of the planet and humankind. In todays episode have the return of Alexis after a few months away, and this time she brought her friend Jami Clark, who is co hosting an upcoming new podcast called “I’m Bored, What’s Next?”. In this episode, Heath takes another deep dive into the Tao Te Ching, and ancient philosophical text from over 2400 years ago. Verse 50 is the focus of this talk, where the author Lao Tzu who wrote the Tao Te Ching, talks about not fearing death during the course of your life. That the worry about death can rob you of the experience of living. Heath applies this to the very busy and dopamine-filled modern lives that we live, and how slowing down can sometimes get us ahead of reaching our goals.
