Unpacking my thoughts : self image and hair crisis

Last week I had an identity crisis, it all started with me wanting to cut my hair. I realized It was much more deeper than just haircut anxiety so I wanted to unpack how I felt to get clear on where was the real problem which was my self image problem

I cannot believe we're already wrapping 2024 up. This year felt long and short at the same time. Honestly I can't even find the word to describe what this year was to me but in this episode we'll talk about three very important things I learned this year. Hopefully it is going to resonate with your own experience.

I know I may be dramatic but I dread feeling happy these last few months. Happy feeling have become a warning sign to my brain, that I have to be prepared that something bad or sad is coming next. I don't know how to cope with that but it's annoying at this point. In this episode, I dive into the 2 events in my life that I think made come to this point.

As a creative person myself, I find it hard to get inspired sometimes and to come up with new ideas. The rise of social media accentuates the need to be productive all the time as an artist, sometimes you feel the urge to compare yourself to other people doing the same activity as yourself and find yourself in this constant place of not feeling good enough or talented enough... In this episode me and my friend Elodie dive into these challenges.

When you are exposed to chaos all the time and always used to stressful environment, stress becomes a normal part of your day-to-day life. I think I am in that category of person exposed to stress on a daily basis, is it self inflicted. I do not know but it is hard to have some rest and just rest when your brain have billions of thoughts all the time rushing at the same time. It is always easy said than done but if you are like me and resting makes you feel guilty, I hope this episode help a you a little bit.

Our 20s, there’s a lot of thing going on or there’s nothing much going on. Either way, there is no right or wrong answer as of how should we be or what should we do in our 20s. A lot of us get lost in the thrills of being young during that time; some of us struggle to find ourselves during that time. There’s a few who seem to be thriving like becoming a billionaire type of thriving during that time. What’s the connection between all of these different experiences ? It’s us, our individual self and individual mind.

Change is inevitable; we go through it at any giving moment in LIFE because change is a major part of why we’re all at different situations right now. Whether we like it or not changes will happen to us: Situations, relationships, places, and environment: nothing stays the same forever. And that's what we'll be talking about in this episode.

With the rise of social media, we start to live for the public eye and not for us. We are constantly creating versions of ourselves to impress the internet everyday. The need of approval and validation from the internet becomes an issue even more present in our day to day life : it's us caring a lot about what people think of us, and us caring about their perception of who we are. In this episode we'll be talking about trying not to care, what does it really mean in my opinion.

Being disappointed comes in a lot of forms and we've all experienced it at some point in our lives because that's how life works. So in order to live with it and make it bearable is it a solution to have no expectations at all or lower our expectations ? hum ... there is maybe a third option.

Manifestation and the law of attraction became a trend on the internet especially on tiktok since COVID but the truth is they've always been there. The collective just started to give more attention to them during quarantine. In this episode we are going to talk more about the concept of manifestation and I will give you an overall look on how you can start manifesting your dream life from my research and gatherings from other social medias.
