Doug is a sales and marketing executive whose nearly four-decade career runs from consumer goods to video games, having led Nintendo of America through a decade of historic growth. Doug led operations across the Americas from 2019 through the end of 2025. During his tenure, Nintendo grew on the strength of the Nintendo Switch — one of the best-selling video game platforms of all time — and he oversaw the launch of Nintendo Switch 2, which became the best-selling console of all time in its initial sales period. Doug also expanded Nintendo's licensed merchandise business, opened the company's San Francisco flagship store, and led its re-entry into the Brazilian market.
