Berlin Marathon Recap and Twin Cities Marathon Preview. Thu Oct 1, 2026

i ran berlin marathon in the adios pro 5, AMA. i went to adidas HQ and they gave me a pair of the hyperboost 360 concept. i'll show it to you.i'm leaving for twin cities tomorrow. gonna try and run another marathon this sunday. also, i've got some unboxings

i'll be heading out to germany tomorrow, so this will be the last livestream for over a week. let's check the weather forecast, talk about the shakeout, and then we'll open some packageshere's the link for the shakeout in berlin with BITR and adidas running. it only works on mobile and you'll need to download the adidas running apphttps://www.runtastic.com/groups/bdb35c68-9759-493b-a20b-eaa7a53578e1/events/a1ef3243-2e3a-4189-a8cf-908519966e40

a lot of shoes have come off embargo this week. here are some shoes i've been running in over the past week that i can finally talk about:Endorphin Speed 6Cloudsurfer 3Gel Slowcushi'll also unbox 3 more shoes and some apparel from Dead Last

my kids wore hoodies to school today. i made a pot roast in the slow cooker yesterday, and i ran with a shirt on today. is this fall?also, we talk about the flooded (with water) half marathon in New Jersey and the flooded (with other stuff) hyrox

in this episode, I taste test a couple of new flavors of Skratch, tell you about the Metasleek that I tested that morning, and unbox some packages from Path Projects and Diadora

temps have been in the 90s here with high humiity, and it feels like we're back at the worst conditions of the summer. are we doing ok?

actually made it a good way through The Norwegian Method Applied book over the weekend - a book i'm reading a physical and not an audio version. my main takeaway is that there sure was a lot of reference to running 6x6. the second takeaway is that i think i need to do a proper lactate test

we've had a really nice week or so of cool morning temps that have been very nice for running. but now, it seems like summer is heating back up. today, i've got some shoes to unbox (i think they've not under embargo). plus, some running books!

I ran in the Tyr Valkyrie Elite 2 over the weekend - it's amazing. I tried the Craft Astmosfar this morning - I'm shocked at how much I like it.Last month, we were talking about the Topo Specter 3 and Specter Elite. Amazing shoes from brands that typically get ignored. But these just might be some of the best shoes to hit the US market in 2026. (no worries, I still love Hyperboost Edge and Deviate Pure)

both my kids are back in school already. it's finally cool enough that i can run with a singlet (rather than going without a shirt). this means i should be getting faster now, right?
