Talking things kids & health with Dr. Shannon Forshey. Dr. Froshey attended the University of Arizona for both her undergraduate and medical degrees.
Dr. Forshey has been a pediatrician for over 25 years. During her career, she has worked in both clinical (outpatient) and hospital (inpatient) environments. Dr. Forshey recently started an innovative outpatient practice called Village Pediatrics, a Direct Primary Care model, in which she visits families in their homes.
This allows her to spend more time with her patients, establishing a closer and healthier bond than in traditional clinical settings. Dr. Forshey also works at Phoenix Children’s Hospital as a pediatric hospitalist.
