Cam Myers ran 3:29.68 to finish just behind Josh Kerr at the Ultimate Championship 1500m in Budapest, Hungary. Ky Robinson ran bravely before finishing the 5000m in 13:04.09 as Jakob Ingebrigsten pulled away to win 12:59.24. Sarah Billings ran 1:58.89 in the 800m Final won by Audrey Werro in her breakout season. Abbey Caldwell ran 3:58.64 to place 6th in the 1500m with Jess Hull ninth in 3:59.97 as Klaudia Kazmierska won in 3:57.55 to hold off Georgia Hunter-Bell. Jess Hull then backed up to place second in the 5000m in a personal best time of 14:32.39, behind winner Likina Amebaw while Rose Davies ran 14:35.64 to place sixth. Results via World Athletics

 

Knox were the surprise winners of the Men’s Premier Division of the XCR Tan Relays to end the season, beating Ballarat Region and Mentone, while Seth O’Donnell ran the fastest lap of the Tan in 10:30. Sandringham remained true to form to win the Women’s Premier Division ahead of Western Athletics and Melbourne Uni. Katherine Dowie ran the fastest lap of the day in 12:36

Adam Spencer came third in the 5th Avenue Mile in New York City, behind American winner Marco Langon and Jake Heyward of the UK, with Oli Hoare and Jack Anstey both running 3:54. Jemma Reekie of the UK won the women’s race in 4:14 ahead of Josette Andrews and Rachel McArthur. NYRR Results

 

Zahair Talbi of the US won the Great North Run 59:47, while Brigid Kosgei won in 1:06:15 Results 

 

Callum Davies won the Bridge 2 Brisbane 10km in 29:15 over Lachlan Moore and Jordan Skelly, while Alexandra Lyndon won in 33:07 over Richelle Hill and Tyla Lumley. Results

 

Tom Do Canto and Abigail Nordberg won the NSW Half Marathon Championships. NSW Athletics Report
