Inner Work 291: Spiritual Guidance & Forecast October 2026 (Tapping into the Akashic Records and Tarot)

Welcome! For this month's Akashic Records forecast, I'm tapping into the Field and pulling a 3-card Tarot spread to explore the incoming energy for October. We'll explore: main energetic themes for Oct 2026 (beginning, middle, and end of the month) where your Soul may be asking you to grow or keep healing how to move beyond patterns of giving your power away, asking others for permission to be yourself (or to connect to Divine Source!), or holding back on your gifts how to navigate some important choices & decisions coming up this month suggestions from the Records to make the best "spiritual use" of October October will be a month of great shifts, both internally and externally, when it comes to power structures and how you relate to authority figures, institutions, and belief systems in your society or culture. This is a channeled reading from the Akashic Records combined with the symbolism and wisdom of the Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck. Whether you're new to the Records or a longtime seeker, this forecast offers grounded, practical spiritual guidance you can actually use in your daily life this month. 💬 I'd love to know — which part of this reading (and which card) resonated most with you? No two people experience the Akashic Records the same exact way. Even the same person accessing the Records on two different occasions will likely have two different experiences. The Akashic Records will ALWAYS provide you with whatever you most need to heal, see, understand, feel, or know. The Records will orchestrate the most relevant, useful, meaningful, and necessary experience for you, every single time you journey there. To illustrate this point, I'm sharing two real case studies in this episode of INNER WORK: one of my very first openings of the Records back in 2004, and a recent opening from one of my Akashic Records Certification students. These openings are completely different experiences, and both are completely valid. In my 2004 opening, I found myself standing before massive, ancient wooden doors — carved, alive, waiting. What came through was a flood of light, a sense of homecoming, and a guide I hadn't met before: a Wizard-like figure who turned out to be one of my own Guides (a "Master") in the Records. There was a forehead-to-forehead energy exchange, a merging of light, and a wave of unconditional Love unlike anything I'd felt before. My student's experience was nothing like that. She went in with no agenda, just practicing surrender. What she got wasn't visions or grand revelations — instead, she initially came up against frustration, self-judgment, and the fear of disappointment... all common patterns she had been carrying in her life previously. The Records brought these up so she could fully feel them, see them for what they were, and then release them through an overwhelming wave of self-compassion that showed up as warmth, an orb of light, some tears, and colors swirling in her heart. Her healing was quieter, internal, and just as profound. The Akashic Records don't work off a script or specific expectations of what "should" happen when you connect. Sometimes you'll see things. Sometimes you'll hear things. Sometimes you'll just FEEL: a sensation, an emotion, a knowing. Sometimes "nothing" seems to happen at all, other than a deep silence... because that's the exact medicine you needed that day. Staying open to this vast range of possibilities is a key practice and the best way to receive what you MOST need from the Records, every single time. We're living through a collective crisis of purpose. Disconnection, confusion, loss of direction... so many people are waking up and questioning WHY they're here and WHO they really are. In this episode of INNER WORK, I explore why now — at this crucial moment in our personal and collective history — so many of us are being called back to the Akashic Records (or what I like to call "Akashic Resonance"): a living field of unconditional love, wholeness, and Divine connection that's always available to us. We'll talk about: Why this "dark night of the Soul" so many are experiencing is actually a catalyst for awakening What Akashic Resonance really means — and why it's a better name & descriptor than "records" How tuning into this field aligns you with your Higher Self and Soul-level purpose Why this moment — with the dawn of AI, disclosure of intergalactic intelligence, and shifting definitions of what it means to be human — is when we MOST need this Divine connection in our lives The powerful role the Akashic Records are here to play in humanity's collective evolution If you've felt that pull, that inner longing to return home to yourself and discover what's actually REAL... this discussion is for you. Have you often felt a pull towards something beyond the physical world? A knowing that there's more going on than what science and logic alone can explain? You might be one of the select people whose Soul came into this lifetime specifically to work with the Akashic Records. In this episode of INNER WORK, I'm sharing 5 signs the Akashic Records are calling you to access them, including: You've always identified as a spiritual seeker, even if life took you on a "detour" away from that path at certain times You feel drawn to the mysteries of the cosmos and are deeply interested in astrology, astronomy, quantum physics, and other metaphysical explorations The term "Akashic Records" (or "Akasha", "Akash", etc) keeps showing up in your life You've had dreams, meditations, or past-life experiences involving a cosmic library — and maybe even met the Record Keepers You came into this lifetime with a clear, strong mission to heal old karma, break generational patterns, and live from a place of higher consciousness If these resonate, your Soul may be calling you to visit, explore, and work actively with the Akashic Records in your life. Ever open the Akashic Records and feel like you're getting... nothing? Crickets, silence, a blank space where you expected downloads, information, Divine messages? If yes, you're not alone... and it doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. In this episode of INNER WORK, I'm breaking down exactly what's happening when you feel "stuck" in the Records or when it seems like you're not getting anything, including: ✨ Why learning to read the Akashic Records is a skill that takes practice (just like learning an instrument or language) ✨ Why silence and subtlety can be just as purposeful as big, loud downloads ✨ How to recognize when your ego mind is throwing up resistance — and what to do about it ✨ Why fearful or jarring imagery is NEVER coming from the unconditionally loving field of the Records (it's always coming from ego!) ✨ How to trust that something is always happening, even when it doesn't feel like it If you've ever questioned your ability to connect, or wondered if you're "doing it right," this one's for you. As mentioned in the episode, here's my previous video on understanding the language of the Akashic Records: https://youtu.be/oof4g8cBGvw Thank you for being here, doing your inner work, and leading the way for others with your light.
