Florida officials are seeking the death penalty for a truck driver and her fiancé accused of locking four young children inside a tractor-trailer cab for over six years while subjecting them to severe abuse. Ghislaine Maxwell's latest bid to overturn her sex trafficking conviction has been rejected, leaving her 20-year prison sentence in place. The judge called her claims a "complete miscarriage of justice" based on speculation and falsehoods.  Maxwell argued that newly released Justice Department files proved her innocence, but the judge ruled that those documents actually incriminated her further. Legal experts state she has virtually run out of standard legal avenues to challenge her 2002 conviction, leaving her future dependent on the potential for a presidential clemency. Hearing a woman inside the car say, "you're going to hurt me",  the Park Ranger decides to check things out. The driver is identified as Eugene Horsch. The female passenger produced identification bearing the name of Blair Tonzelli. Tonzelli had been reported missing in February 2023 BUT she had not been heard or seen since August 2022. The photo on the ID was the passenger's photo, NOT Tonzelli. Investigators determine the ID is fake. The woman tells investigators that Eugene Horsch gave her the ID. The official cause of death for Hayden Panettiere is still pending as local and federal authorities continue to investigate.  The initial autopsy showed no signs of physical trauma and officials are waiting on toxicology reports. Pills and Narcan were found near her body, leading to supposition that Hayden died of a drug overdose. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has joined the investigation. Jurors could not reach a unanimous verdict in Lindsay Clancy’s murder trial after spending parts of more than seven days deliberating.  The presiding judge formally declared a mistrial. He relayed the details of a note from the jury which stated, “With a heavy heart, we report we are unable to come to a unanimous decision.
