The first step to solving the intractable jihadist threat in America is to properly diagnose it. The problem is not ISIS, a handful of “extremists,” or a certain strain of Islam. Islam itself demands that people participate in jihad and Sharia. It’s just that not everyone fully follows the religion. However, the entire infrastructure of mosques in America adhere to the only authentic dogma they have. I’m joined by Danny Burmawi, a Jordanian Muslim convert to Christianity, who warns that Islam is not a religion but a state in itself with some religious practice. He makes the case that while you have freedom to practice religion, you do not have the freedom to promote state activities subversive to America any more than the Chinese communists have a constitutional right to operate facilities on our shores if they called it a religion.
