Celebration Sunday

As we celebrate our move into St Paul’s, Joel looks at Hosea 10:12 and explores how this significant moment in the life of our church can become an invitation to renew our personal devotion to Jesus.

John 3:1-21: Over the coming months, we’re going to go through the gospel of John, taking a look at the major themes and teachings of this unique biography, starting with ‘Encounters with Jesus’. All of us have questions and deep longings for things like meaning, fulfilment, and acceptance. In this series, we’ll look at the stories of the people who had the same longings as we do, and who found answers through encountering Jesus and receiving ‘life in his name’ (John 20:31).

David draws from the life of Abraham to consider how we can do this and keep our hearts healthy and positive, even when the waiting period lasts many years.
