Joe recently went to the reunion with his office pals who he worked with in Surrey in the late 90’s, which he spoke about on the pod a few weeks ago. He had a great evening and there’s lots to tell David about - but it’s seems like David’s only really interested in how much older everyone looked and how many of them had got fatter. Then in another blast from the past, David tells David about the time in his early 20’s when he studied Shiatsu massage - which totally blows Joes mind! David’s wife Naomi is going away for six days, leaving David to look after the kids and home all on his own. It’s not something he’s particularly looking forward to, especially the first night which always makes him feel very lonely indeed. So he talks that all through with Joe and then reveals that as a prank, Naomi got one of her friends to invite him to a craft fair while she’s away to make him feel uncomfortable, trying to suggest that she fancies him. Even though David quickly realised it was a joke, it leads him and Joe to wonder how he would have behaved if it had all been for real.
