Episode #380: "Cart Ruts" in Stone II - Mystery Continues to be Unsolved

New book report! Having done reports on Chris Dunn's other books, "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt" and "The Giza Power Plant", we have been wanting to do a full snakebros style report on his most recent book, "Giza: The Tesla Connection" since it came out, and here it is! As always, in part one we read the forwards and intro, and we even manage to get through chapters one and two, all of which is setting the stage for Dunn's updated ideas on the Powerplant concept. Remember, our book reports are in depth but do not by any means cover all of the material in the book. Support the autor and the publishers, buy the book! After a long 2026 harvest season at the vineyard, we are back with a live show where we start off by describing a bit about the winemaking process and what it's like in our brand new state of the art facility. We then move on to our favorite topic, Egypt, and the mysteries out in the Fayoum desert that we have been actively investigating the last few trips out there. The "Oldest Road" or "First Road", a stone construct that crosses miles of desert, bridging the space between a massive outcrop of basalt, and the shores of an ancient lake connected to the Nile river. How long ago was this road built? It seems likely that it was made for the purpose of moving quarried basalt stones to the water for transport to construction projects elsewhere in ancient Egypt....but when was it made? And why did the ancient builders decide to make part of it from petrified wood?   We hope you enjoy the discussion, and, as always, thanks for listening and supporting the show!   Join our Patreon and get extra content plus access to the original music we use on the show, or donate through Paypal if you prefer, by going to our website here: https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support

This was a fun conversation with Ben from UnchartedX! We discuss the current state of the research into the evidence for a technological lost civilization in the ancient past, how the research is expected to move forward in the future, and what it would mean if some of this evidence is actually eventually accepted by the mainstream.   Support the show through Paypal or Patreon by going to our website! https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support

Is it possible that some mythological creatures that ancient people spoke of were inspired by the fossil bones of extinct animals? Leah, one of our discord members, joins us to talk about an interesting theory that the mythological Griffin may have had it's origins in ancient gold miners discovering the fossil bones of a dinosaur called Protoceratops.   Here is the book referenced during the show: The First Fossil Hunters: https://a.co/d/0fc9kt0c And the Paleontology blog we read from:  Mark Witton's Blog: https://markwitton-com.blogspot.com/2016/04/why-protoceratops-almost-certainly.html You can find Leahs channels and website through the links below: Gaming YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@DorkyDodo Art YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@naturenerdart Nature YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@World-of-Dodo   Website: www.leahck.com Coloring Book: https://www.amazon.com/Paleozoic-Pals-Coloring-Book-Klehn/dp/B0GBCTLG3N/ref=sr_1_1?sr=8-1   You can support us through Patreon or Paypal by going to our support page on our website: https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support

More investigation into the strange sets of "cart ruts" we explored in the Phrygian Valley in Turkey. We show more drone footage and photos, look at examples of "cart ruts" from the "Oregon Trail" in Wyoming, as well as actual ruts in mud for comparison. We read more emails with suggestions and ideas and discuss them. Thank you all for your emails and comments! The ruts are a fascinating and enduring mystery.   Support us on Patron or PayPal by going through our support page here: https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support   Chapters 00:00 Intro 00:50 The Watcher Joins 01:54 Guest Cat 03:00 Wine Medal 07:04 Accent Drift Accusations 08:43 Rock n Roll Update 18:21 Spaceweather News 21:14 Main Topic Begins - Cart Ruts 2

We discuss the mystery of the "cart ruts in stone" we visited while we were in Turkey; looking at video on the ground as well as drone footage of several large groups of well-preserved ruts in ancient volcanic tuff. Who made the ruts, when were they made, and how were they made? We address these questions and more, as well as reading emails from listeners who have their own possible answers. First episode in separate studios! Went well, and we had a fun discussion about the recent JRE Eric Weinstein episode, with the possibility that the science of Physics has been stalled, or purposefully distracted, by the beautiful but seemingly useless mathematics of String Theory. Is it possible that "real physics" simply went "black"...that work is being done in secret that is actually making progress in unlocking the secrets of the universe?   You can support us through Paypal or Patreon by heading over to our support page on our website: https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support   Chapters 00:00 Welcome to the Brothers of the Serpent Podcast 07:09 Space Weather Insights 09:55 The State of Modern Physics 22:26 The Intersection of Physics and the Supernatural 34:39 Mysterious Disappearances of Scientists 48:21 Speculation on Missing Persons Cases 51:52 Skepticism and Conspiracy Theories 54:50 Exploring Advanced Physics and UAPs 01:01:06 Theoretical Physics and Its Limitations 01:07:03 Consciousness and Noetic Sciences 01:14:21 Assumptions in Modern Science 01:18:21 The Nature of Gravity and Dark Matter 01:32:43 The Secrets of Advanced Technology 01:41:50 Space Exploration and Hidden Agendas 01:50:02 The Great Pyramid: A Survival Guide? 02:07:14 The Impact of Language on Memory and Cognition

Still catching up on listener emails, we have some great ones in this episode as always, pyramid questions, ancient Australian Aboriginal stories, consciousness, and more.  At the end we discuss the future of the podcast, our plans, and Russ' upcoming move out of Texas.

Randall reads from a published paper that attempts to date the Great Pyramid using erosion patterns on foundation blocks that used to be partly covered by casing stones. Because we can pinpoint the time the casing stones were removed to within a few years, the erosion on the stone that used to be protected by the now-missing casing stones can be used to establish a baseline for the amount of time required for such erosion to occur. This can be compared to the erosion on the portions of the stone that was never protected, and thus a date for construction can be estimated. This leads us to studies on limestone erosion in general, and the evidence for catastrophic flooding along the Nile Valley, which leads us back to the Sphinx, and the erosion seen in the enclosure walls around it.   Find Randall's channel here: https://www.youtube.com/therandallcarlson And his website here: https://randallcarlson.com/   You can support us through Paypal or Patreon by visiting our website: https://www.brothersoftheserpent.com/support     Chapters 00:00 Introduction to the Conversation 01:24 Redating the Khufu Pyramid 11:04 The Relative Erosion Method Explained 17:21 Exploring the Erosion of the Sphinx 19:13 Quarrying Techniques and Erosion Patterns 30:11 Theories on the Sphinx's Construction 39:18 Coastal Limestone Erosion Studies 41:06 Erosion Rates and Environmental Factors 43:22 Historical Perspectives on Erosion 45:47 Comparative Erosion Studies 47:39 The Sphinx and Erosion Rates 51:41 Freshwater Erosion Dynamics 53:37 Wetter Periods and Erosion 57:11 Subterranean Structures and Ancient Civilizations 01:01:53 Catastrophic Events and Civilization Planning 01:05:25 The Moon as a Refuge 01:10:12 Comparative Flood Events 01:13:18 Periodic Catastrophes and Human Survival 01:18:28 Ancient Technologies and Future Strategies
