Yooo people, hope you’ve all had a good week! 💙As you know, September was Sickle Cell Awareness Month 🧬, so in light of that, we brought back a returning guest and parent advocate to talk all things sickle cell from awareness and testing, to what it’s really like being the parent of a child with sickle cell and much much more.One thing we really want to stress is how important it is to get tested. Even if you’re “sure” or you’ve been told what your genotype is, go and get tested and make sure!Knowledge is important, so know your genotype! 🧬💙But shoutout to all our bros and sisters currently fighting sickle cell, and to all the parents and carers supporting them through it 💙 As always, any questions or dilemmas, please send them through.Love 💙
