Tim and Mary Danielsen dive into headlines once again, if only to prove we are not robots but real humans. Is everyone sick of trying to prove they are flesh and blood? Or hoping that the pictures you click on will pass the test? This system is actually called CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart). It is a computing test to determine if the user is human. It is sometimes called the reverse Turing test, as the point is to prove humanity rather than artificial intelligence. I for one believe that the burden of proof is on the Artificial Lifeform to come forth and identify themselves. Today we talk about that alternate reality that is the internet. Patrick Wood has for some time now said that reality barely exists anyway, so we will look at what that means. We also look at Canadian elections; the Pope as Muslim apologist; an update on the Temple Mount; catastrophic AI; Facial Recognition perils; and the need to find HOPE in all of it. Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson on this Good Friday to talk about the importance of clinging to the cross in living out our day to day faith. When Jesus gave up His spirit, the veil in the temple was torn in two. This was no window curtain, it was at least 60 feet high and 4" thick - and separated the common area of the Temple from the Holy of Holies accessible only by the High Priest. The symbolism is simple: through the rending of the flesh of our Saviour, we now have access by grace to God through Jesus. What a glorious truth. This also means that we can not rely on ritual, tradition, or works to draw near to God, we are now bondsmen of Christ. So, once we understand that, what would the life of the believer look like? What should the church look like not just in our day to day service to God but corporately? Has the church become distracted by far too many bells, whistles, and sound systems? Are we still connected to the Head? The daily life of confession, repentance, cleansing and faith, minus any righteousness of our own is truly the only way to the fruitful Christian life. What a weekend - and now they are processing as they walk along. Then a stranger joins them, and asks why they are cast down and sad as they walk, and they respond incredulously - where were You when all this took place? Are you unaware of what has all transpired? And without recognizing their Saviour, they are treated to the most incredible Bible study ever, from the Master Himself. Wouldn't it have been incredible to be a part of that? Then we go back in time a bit and discuss Palm Sunday, and the most amazing prophecy of all - Daniel 9. Finally, we look at why Jesus had to be crucified instead of stoned. At least in the days of constant feeds, some of them leak out. Today we look at the Iran talks, and try to parse out who the players are. Antisemitism continues on in public events, in this case, an event at Princeton. Who will ensure that someone is accountable for this latest mess? There wasn't even a school ID necessary, probably because that leaves the door open for paid actors to come in and rile everyone up. Also on the agenda: China rare earth elements, and why the US has to care about that; and the latest on Smart Cities for Dummies. What the globalists think is important; ie, what they can get away with, never ceases to amaze. One has to wonder what globalists like Klaus Schwab think of Islam because they might get overridden by that global agenda. Interesting times indeed.
