The Pirate Monk Podcast will be taking a break for the next several weeks to give our volunteers a much-needed rest.  We plan to resume posting new episodes again in July.  If you can't live without your PMpod fix in the meantime, please take advantage of the 400+ episodes in our back catalogue to listen to some that you may have skipped or would like to revisit!

Our Guest: Michael Ayala-White, a Buffalo NY native, is a Trauma Informed Certified Coach who is located in Buffalo, NY, but his certification is global and does remote coaching with clients all over the country. He specializes in addiction recovery, inner child work, and trauma informed coaching. He talks about the differences between toxic shame and everyday shame and how to work on them in healthy ways. Michael discusses his disconnects between reading the Bible, memorizing verses, and his inability to stop his addiction. Rachel urges women not to Google Women’s Sexuality, especially in considering rape and purity culture, women’s masturbation, and sexual addiction. Our Guest: Aaron interviews our guest, Dr. Tamara Rosier. Dr. Tamara is an ADHD coach, and the founder of the ADHD Center in West Michigan. She shares her knowledge and history of ADHD going back to the 1800’s. Ways to cope with the thing that gives you reoccurring anxiety, including emotionally engineering your day. Our Guest: Natives of Miami, Josh and Charlene share their real-life experiences with alcoholism and substance abuse.
