Guest Speaker Bio: Dr. Nijay K. Gupta is professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary. He has written or edited over twenty books including the Dictionary of Paul and His Letters, A Beginner's Guide to New Testament Studies, The State of New Testament Studies, and the award-winning and best-selling Tell Her Story: How Women Led, Taught, and Ministered in the Early Church, as well as commentaries on Galatians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1-2 Thessalonians. Nijay co-hosts the popular Slow Theology podcast with Dr. A.J. Swoboda and has bylines with Christianity Today, Christian Century, Biblical Archaeological Review, and Fathom Magazine. His latest book Strange Religion: How the First Christians Were Weird, Dangerous, and Compelling (which we discuss in this episode!)
