Today on Wussy Movie Club, Rachel Garbus is here to talk with iconic and legendary filmmaker Alice Wu, known for 2004's “Saving Face” and Netflix’s 2020 “The Half of It.” We include the full fifty-minute interview versus the fifteen minutes shown at the WUSSY screening of Wu’s “Saving Face.”

 

Alice Wu is an American film director and screenwriter known for her films Saving Face and The Half of It. Her films feature Chinese-American main characters and explore the lives of intellectual, lesbian characters.
