When Following Jesus Doesn’t Turn Out Like You Thought It Would.

Someone once said that encouragers are God’s jumper cables for the church. Today we will see how different the Apostle Paul’s life and John Mark’s life would have been without a man named Barnabas who encouraged them to keep going. Join us today as we continue in the book of Acts.

Genealogies in the Bible. Most people think they are boring to read so they pass right over them. But they are actually fascinating to see how God preserved the lineage from Adam to Abraham and then to Jesus. But in the Gospel of Matthew and Luke there are two different genealogies for Jesus seem contradictory. What is that all about?

This is a man who yells and is rude to the religious leaders of his day. A man who dresses like he is homeless and who eats bugs.
