Amon Leopold Göth was an SS Schutzstafeeln, the commandant of the Płaszów labour camp in Kraków, Poland and a man that was such a monster that Steven Spielberg had to tone down his cruelty in Schindler's List because he didn't want audiences to think that it was exaggerating or making things up.
