The Soucouyant -Trinidadian & Toboggan folklore
October is the month where Thanksgiving is celebrated along with Halloween. Caribbean people will tell you, we don't celebrate Halloween. But that doesn't mean we don't have superstitions or worry about things that go bump in the night. The next few episode highlight Caribbean folklore let's begin with:

a Caribbean folklore figure known to live a double life appearing as a woman by day but at night able to peel off her skill soar through the sky like a fire ball and suck the blood of her victims leaving them weak and drained. The legend of the Soucuyant serves as a cautionary tale and a source of fear in Caribbean folklore warning of the dangers that lurk in the darkness of night
