After years of re-shoots, drama and controversy, Snow white is finally here! Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot does their very best to carry this trainwreck and surprisingly it succeeds. Some people will probably still hate this, but for some (i.e me) this was actually a wonderfully quaint fairy tale adventure with very strong character building and a strong message of non violence and kindness. We discuss the emotional highs and the stunning resolution that brought us to tears. Plus, we explore the film's decision to avoid the typical "girl boss" tropes, keeping Snow White strong without sacrificing her vulnerability. The Gorge" is a surprisingly great action movie that no one will ever watch. Despite being directed by Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange, The Black Phone), starring Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit, Furiosa) and Trent Reznor composing the score, this film has been completely buried by the endless flood of streaming content. With insane action, fun characters, and a solid story, this would have been a must-watch blockbuster about 20 years ago—but now barely anyone even knows it exists. Why? Because streaming platforms don’t care. If a movie isn’t part of an established franchise, it gets dumped with zero promotion. This is exactly what’s wrong with modern Hollywood.
