Both city employees and the landlords were benefiting from the scheme, only Canada's (most marginalized) People lose out.Anyway, this is James W. Reporting a corrupt City of Ottawa Trustee and manager for the Ministry of Community and Social Services department of Ottawa to City Councillor Cathy Curry. Cathy Curry was recently featured in another CBC article exposing fraud and collusion between City of Ottawa employees and landlords that were involved in a 'Kickback Scheme', increasing rent up to 63% above market values and keeping it for their Self. That's theft of public money and Cathy Curry was reported to believe it may just be the tip of the iceberg. The manager of the City of Ottawa employees involved in the scheme is Clara Freier who said she was 'absolutely horrified' to hear of the ordeal. This is the same Clara Freier that believes the Trustee Act of Ontario and Canada's Criminal Code are not binding upon her. BONUS EPISODE!!! Call to Cathy Curry, City Councillor So I am reporting to Cathy Curry that My landlord, a not for profit organization known as Multifaith Housing Initiative was skimming an extra $60 month above the actual rent. The contract that allowed for the theft of that public money was Signed at the Ontario Works office. I believe Clara Freier is in fact the primary conductor and orchestrator of the fraud and skimming from the public Trust account.
