Wild Zero (1999)

Wild Zero is a 1999 Japanese comedy horror film directed by Tetsuro Takeuchi. It stars Masashi Endō as Ace, a fan of the Japanese rock power trio Guitar Wolf (who star as themselves). After assisting the group, the band's eponymous vocalist makes Ace his blood brother and gives him a whistle to blow during times of trouble. The group later finds themselves in the middle of a zombie outbreak. MadS is a 2024 French zombie horror thriller film written and directed by David Moreau. The story follows Julia, Anaïs, and Romain, who witness (and take part in) an apparent zombie outbreak of French proportions. MadS is presented in real time and was filmed in one continuous shot. Whistle is a 2026 teen-centric horror film directed by Corin Hardy (The Nun) that follows a misfit group of high school students who stumble upon a cursed artifact: an ancient Aztec Death Whistle. Cujo is a 1983 American horror film directed by Lewis Teague, written by Don Carlos Dunaway and Barbara Turner (using the pen name Lauren Currier), and starring Dee Wallace, Daniel Hugh Kelly, and Danny Pintauro. An adaptation of Stephen King's 1981 novel of the same name, it follows a mother and her son who are trapped inside their car while protecting themselves from a rabid St. Bernard.
