Outrage Grows After Epstein Files Protester Is Attacked at Trump Rally (10/14/26)

The document is a May 3, 2026 Touhy request from the New Mexico Department of Justice seeking access to unredacted and unreleased federal records connected to Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Zorro Ranch. New Mexico said it reopened its investigation in February 2026 after DOJ released redacted Epstein materials that, for the first time, gave state investigators a clearer picture of what may have happened at the ranch. The state reminded DOJ that its original 2019 investigation had been closed at the request of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, with the New Mexico file turned over for use in federal prosecutions. Now, however, New Mexico is investigating potential state felonies including homicide, kidnapping, criminal sexual penetration, criminal sexual contact and human trafficking. Investigators said the redactions in the federal files were preventing them from identifying witnesses, corroborating survivor accounts, reconstructing travel and timelines, and determining whether additional people could be charged under New Mexico law.The letter then laid out specific examples of why New Mexico says it needs the unredacted records. Those include FBI interviews describing victims being brought to Zorro Ranch repeatedly in the late 1990s and early 2000s, a 2019 prosecution memorandum identifying at least four minors and two adults who reported sexual assaults by Epstein, Maxwell and others in New Mexico, and interview notes from a victim who alleged Epstein forcibly raped her at the ranch. Another FBI interview described Maxwell allegedly giving a victim a non-consensual massage before Epstein sexually assaulted her, while other records referenced a professional massage therapist who described sexualized massages at Zorro Ranch, a male complainant who alleged he had been raped there, a 15-year-old girl flown to New Mexico, and a 2019 tip claiming that videos of sexual abuse existed and that two foreign girls were buried on the property. New Mexico made clear that these were allegations requiring investigation, not established facts, but argued that the federal government’s redactions were blocking meaningful follow-up and potentially preventing the identification of additional offenders.to contact me:[email protected]:gov.uscourts.dcd.295266.1.18.pdfBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Outrage erupted after video from a Donald Trump campaign rally in Youngstown, Ohio, showed a male supporter assaulting a female protester who was wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt. The footage showed the man shoving her, pulling her hair, striking her in the face and trying to force her toward the ground as people nearby reacted. Law enforcement eventually intervened and escorted the woman out of the venue, but the man seen attacking her appeared to remain inside and was filmed exchanging high-fives with other attendees. That response became a major part of the backlash, with critics questioning why the apparent victim was removed while the alleged attacker was allowed to stay. As of the report, authorities had not announced an arrest or charges stemming from the confrontation.Trump also addressed the disruption from the stage, claiming without evidence that the protester was a paid activist and mocking her appearance and weight, apparently while misidentifying her as a man. The incident quickly spread across social media and became intertwined with the larger fight over the government’s handling of the Epstein files, since the woman’s protest was specifically demanding their release. The controversy therefore moved beyond a simple rally altercation and became a debate over political violence, free expression, law-enforcement treatment of protesters and whether people demanding Epstein transparency were being treated differently because of the message they were carrying.to contact me:[email protected]:'Where Is the Arrest?': Outrage Erupts After Trump Rally Supporter Punches Female Protester | IBTimes UKBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Now that the Epstein issue has become a mainstream political weapon, voters should be extremely cautious about politicians who suddenly present themselves as champions of transparency after years of institutional silence and indifference. Jeffrey Epstein was protected by failures that crossed party lines, agencies, financial institutions, universities, prosecutors, lawyers, and elite social circles, so no political faction can honestly claim a monopoly on either virtue or corruption. The problem now is that election season encourages candidates to reduce a complicated history into slogans, attack ads, and partisan accusations designed to score points rather than uncover the truth. Real accountability means following the evidence wherever it leads, distinguishing documented conduct from mere association, protecting survivors from being turned into campaign props, and demanding that politicians support subpoenas, document releases, hearings, financial investigations, and institutional reform even when those efforts become politically inconvenient. The standard cannot change depending on whose name appears in the records. The real test will come after the election, when the speeches stop and the people demanding our votes actually have the power to act. Voters should remember every promise of transparency and compare those promises against future votes, subpoenas, hearings, investigations, document releases, and efforts to hold government agencies accountable. We cannot undo the sweetheart treatment Epstein received, recover every missed investigative opportunity, or erase the years survivors spent fighting to be heard, but we can insist that the remaining record be exposed and that anyone still subject to lawful investigation be treated according to the evidence rather than wealth, influence, or political allegiance. If politicians are serious about Epstein accountability, they should be willing to pursue uncomfortable facts regardless of where those facts lead. If they are only using Epstein to win an election, that will become obvious once the campaign is over. The voters should be prepared to remember the difference.to contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Jeffrey Epstein was enabled by a wide network of powerful people across politics, academia, philanthropy, law, business and high society, but the most consequential relationships were arguably the ones that gave him access to money, legitimacy and the financial machinery necessary to sustain his operation. Wealthy patrons, bankers, money managers and executives did more than decorate Epstein’s social circle; they helped place him inside institutions where enormous sums of money could move with little public scrutiny. His relationship with Leslie Wexner gave him extraordinary financial authority and social credibility, while his connections to figures such as Leon Black, Glenn Dubin, Jes Staley and others placed him close to some of the most influential people on Wall Street. That proximity mattered because Epstein’s power was never just about who attended a dinner or flew on a plane. It depended on his ability to present himself as a legitimate financier, manage complex financial arrangements, cultivate wealthy clients and move comfortably through a world where money itself opened doors that would have remained closed to almost anyone else. The financial sector was especially consequential because it provided the infrastructure that allowed Epstein to keep operating even after serious allegations and his 2008 conviction had made his history impossible to ignore. Banks processed his transactions, maintained accounts, moved money through entities and continued relationships with him despite repeated red flags that later became the subject of regulatory actions, civil litigation and congressional scrutiny. JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank ultimately paid hundreds of millions of dollars to resolve Epstein-related claims, underscoring how central financial institutions became to the broader story of how he was able to function for so long. Politicians could provide prestige, academics could provide intellectual legitimacy and celebrities could normalize his presence, but none of those relationships had the same practical value as access to the people and institutions that controlled capital. Epstein’s criminal world required money to recruit, travel, maintain properties, employ staff, fund shell entities and preserve the appearance of respectability, and the financial sector supplied the system through which all of that could continue.to contat me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Prince Andrew settled Virginia Giuffre’s civil sexual-abuse lawsuit in February 2022, avoiding a trial that would have forced him to answer detailed questions under oath about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and Giuffre. The settlement came after Judge Lewis Kaplan rejected Andrew’s attempt to have the case dismissed, leaving him facing discovery, depositions and the possibility of a highly damaging public trial. Andrew did not admit liability, but the settlement included a statement acknowledging that Giuffre was an established victim of abuse and expressing regret for his association with Epstein. He also agreed to make a substantial donation to Giuffre’s charity, although the total settlement amount was not officially disclosed. The decision effectively ended the case before a jury could evaluate Giuffre’s allegations that Andrew had sexually assaulted her when she was 17, allegations he repeatedly denied. The backlash was immediate and severe because critics saw the settlement as an attempt to make the case disappear without Andrew ever having to publicly test his denials in court. He had spent years insisting that Giuffre’s account was false, yet once his dismissal effort failed and trial became a real possibility, he chose to settle instead of fighting the allegations to a verdict. That fueled accusations that his public defenses had collapsed when confronted with the prospect of sworn testimony and cross-examination. The criticism was compounded by reports that the Queen helped fund his legal defense and by the fact that Andrew had already lost his military titles, royal patronages and official public role. To many observers, the settlement did not clear his name; it cemented the perception that one of the most senior members of the royal family had used wealth and privilege to avoid the kind of courtroom reckoning that an ordinary defendant might not have been able to escape.to contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Alex Acosta was the U.S. attorney whose office signed off on Jeffrey Epstein’s extraordinarily favorable 2007 non-prosecution agreement, so his name became permanently attached to the deal. But treating the NPA as if it were merely the work of one local prosecutor ignores how consequential and unusual the agreement was. It resolved a potential federal sex-crimes case involving multiple alleged victims, granted Epstein protection from federal prosecution in South Florida, extended immunity to unnamed potential co-conspirators, and was negotiated in a way that kept victims in the dark. A deal with that kind of scope, sensitivity and political exposure would have been hard to imagine moving through the Justice Department without awareness above the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Acosta may have been the official whose name was on it, but the idea that an agreement this significant was created in isolation, without consultation with or approval from Main Justice, has always required a very narrow reading of how DOJ actually operates. That is why focusing exclusively on Acosta risks shrinking what was likely a much broader institutional failure into the story of one prosecutor. Senior Justice Department officials in Washington had every reason to be aware of a case involving a wealthy, politically connected defendant, allegations of sexual abuse involving minors, potential federal charges, and a proposed agreement conferring unusually broad protections. Acosta himself later suggested that he had been told Epstein “belonged to intelligence,” though that account has remained disputed and unproven. What is clear is that the NPA reflected a series of decisions, approvals and failures extending well beyond one signature. Acosta deserves scrutiny for his role, but presenting him as the lone architect lets the rest of the Department off far too easily.to contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

In the report dated January 22, 2021, Dechert reviewed over 60,000 documents and interviewed more than 20 witnesses to examine Black’s social and business ties to Epstein, including payments, introductions, and services rendered. It concluded that there was no evidence that Black or his affiliates were involved in Epstein’s criminal activities, or that Epstein introduced Black to any under-age woman. The document confirmed that Black engaged Epstein for tax, estate-planning, philanthropic and family-office advice between about 2012 and 2017 — with total payments around $158 million — and that their social relationship dated to the mid-1990s. It found that Black believed Epstein had served his sentence in 2008 and viewed engaging him as not “inappropriate,” though the report notes Black severed ties around fall 2018.The report also flagged red-flags: Epstein advised on a “proprietary” solution for a 2006 Grantor-Retained Annuity Trust (“GRAT”) that reportedly saved Black up to $1 billion+ in estate taxes, and a “step-up basis” transaction that may have saved about $600 million in future tax liability. The investigation found that Epstein’s compensation “far exceeded” what Black paid his other professional advisors, and payments after 2013 were made on an ad-hoc basis without formal service agreements. While the report cleared Black of criminal wrongdoing, it raised significant questions about the nature of Epstein’s advisory role and the scale/value of payments relative to documented services.to  contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

The renewed release of information surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s network has highlighted a striking shift among groups that previously positioned themselves as vocal crusaders against child exploitation and elite corruption. During the height of Epstein’s second arrest in 2019, many of the loudest online voices—particularly those aligned with the QAnon movement—used Epstein’s case as a rallying point, framing it as proof of a hidden global cabal and leveraging public outrage to fuel a sprawling conspiracy narrative. However, as real legal developments, survivor testimony, and documented links to high-profile individuals have resurfaced in recent months, those same factions have largely retreated from the discussion, offering little public support for transparency or accountability.Critics argue that the earlier conflation of the Epstein case with sensationalized conspiracy content served to obscure legitimate evidence and undermine public focus at a critical moment, ultimately benefiting the powerful figures and institutions implicated in the scandal. Today, instead of calling for investigations or defending survivors, many former activists have shifted to skepticism about Epstein’s crimes or have echoed narratives minimizing Ghislaine Maxwell’s role. The contrast between their previous public posture and their current silence has raised questions about motives, credibility, and whether the distraction generated at the peak of the case was accidental or strategic.to contact me:[email protected]:Infamous pro-Trump conspiracy theorists have been 'strangely muted' on the Epstein scandal - Alternet.orgBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Day four of Tyler Robinson’s preliminary hearing, held July 9, centered on some of the prosecution’s most consequential evidence yet, including a recorded interview with Robinson’s former roommate and romantic partner, Lance Twiggs. In the interview, Twiggs described Robinson’s behavior after Charlie Kirk was killed and authenticated text exchanges in which Robinson allegedly admitted responsibility for the shooting, discussed the rifle and expressed concern that investigators would find his DNA on it. Twiggs also said Robinson later confirmed the confession in person and expressed regret about what he had done. Prosecutors additionally introduced Robinson’s handwritten note to Twiggs, which allegedly said that he had an opportunity to “take out Charlie Kirk” and took it, although Judge Tony Graf quickly ordered the image removed after it was inadvertently displayed publicly. Twiggs also identified Robinson in surveillance images with varying degrees of certainty, telling investigators that some of the later photographs definitely appeared to show him.The state also spent a significant portion of the day strengthening the forensic connection between Robinson and the physical evidence. Investigators testified that Robinson’s DNA was found on numerous portions of the rifle recovered near Utah Valley University, including the stock, grips, trigger area, bolt and barrel, as well as on ammunition associated with the weapon. An ATF analysis also linked a rotary engraving tool recovered from Robinson’s residence to markings found on cartridge cases, supporting the prosecution’s allegation that ammunition had been engraved before the shooting. At the same time, the forensic evidence was not absolute across the board: investigators could not conclusively determine that the bullet-jacket fragment recovered during Kirk’s autopsy had been fired from the recovered rifle. By the end of the fourth day, however, prosecutors had combined Robinson’s alleged admissions, Twiggs’ account, the handwritten note, surveillance evidence and extensive DNA testimony into their clearest presentation yet of why they believe Robinson was the shooter.to contact me:[email protected] a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.
