In this interview we talk to Shwetha about her journey so far, the AMMA presidentship's, her childhood career and personal life. This is a two-part series. Shwetha was never one to follow conventions, whether it was taking on the role in Rathinirvedam or working in a Condom Ad, she dared to tread where no one else did. She overcame every setback whether it was case filed against her during AMMA elections or whether it was her taking on the politician who groped her, Shwetha is not someone who backs off she proved time and again. Love her or hate her, she is here to stay she states with her words and actions. This is a motivational interview that tells us that one must stay true to who they are.Shwetha's career:She started her career as an actress in the Malayalam film Anaswaram (1991), directed by Jomon, playing the female lead opposite Mammootty. She competed in the Miss India contest in 1994 and finished third runner-up behind Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai and Fransesca Hart. She became the first Gladrags female super model in 1994. She subsequently made her debut in Hindi cinema and appeared in over 30 films; some of her Bollywood films include Asoka (2001), Maqbool (2003) and Corporate (2006). Menon returned to Malayalam in 2006 with Thantra. In 2010, she won the Kerala State Government's Best Actress for her portrayal of Cheeru, a village woman in the film Paleri Manikyam: Shwetha was married to Bollywood model, Bobby Bhonsle, but it ended up in divorce. Later she married Sreevalsan Menon, a native of Thrissur, who works in Mumbai. She has a daughter, whose delivery was recorded on camera as part of the film Kalimannu.
