GTI Energy Ltd CEO Bruce Lane talked with Proactive about the latest developments at the Lo Herma in-situ recovery (ISR) Uranium Project in Wyoming.
Lane highlighted key findings from recent scoping study fieldwork, including updated resource estimates of 8.57 million pounds, with 30% in the indicated category. He noted that metallurgical testing produced positive leach test results, aligning with nearby uranium projects.
GTI Energy also completed permeability testing and water monitoring wells, confirming sufficient water levels and favourable mineralization conditions for ISR mining. Lane emphasized that these results reinforce the feasibility of uranium extraction at Lo Herma, placing it in line with existing ISR operations in Wyoming.
He outlined the company’s next steps, including finalizing the scoping study and preparing for further permitting and potential project expansion. Lane also discussed the strong uranium market fundamentals, citing U.S. utilities' annual demand of 50 million pounds versus current domestic production of only 1–2 million pounds.
With growing interest in US-based uranium supply and favourable regulatory conditions, GTI Energy continues to advance its Wyoming uranium assets.
