U.S. Central Command (Centcom) has confirmed a massive military operation is underway to blockade Iranian ports. More than 10,000 U.S. Sailors, Marines, and Airmen have been deployed, supported by over a dozen warships and dozens of aircraft, effectively sealing off the Gulf of Oman. Official reports from Centcom state that within the first 24 hours of the operation, no ships were able to get past the U.S. blockade.
