Hour 2:  Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears offseason. Kap & J Hood discussed Cade Horton who's officially out for the year... The start to this season feels eerily reminiscent to last year, when Justin Steele went down, except Matthew Boyd is also out... Should the Cubs be signing Lucas Giolito? What's the concern level after the Cubs lose their ostensible ace?  Why is nobody talking about the fact NASA sent 3 astronauts within an eyelash of the moon? Is going to the moon not cool anymore?

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed Chicago Bulls President and CEO Michael Reinsdorf addressed the media and the reaction was largely uninspired, as he mentioned that any GM not wanting to work with Billy would essentially be a non-starter, and he plans to go about this the same way as his dad. Is this not objectively a bad process?  Why is keeping Billy so important?  You only have two options: Keep Billy Donovan, or bring back Thibs… Which do you choose?

Hour 3: Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with breaking news on Chicago Cubs Ace Cade Horton, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of the day.

Hour 2:  NFL Insider for SI.com Albert Breer joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears and the latest NFL storylines.  Kap & J Hood discussed the Cubs sluggish start continues, and so does the wave of bad news, as Matthew Boyd went to the IL. We aren't even 10% of the way into the season, but is this start beginning to get concerning, or is it just the ebbs and flows of a season? When will you get concerned if you aren't yet?

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed the Bulls finally did it; AK and Eversley were fired. Is this a celebratory moment for fans? This also raises a lot of questions for what comes next...The Bulls apparently want to do whatever it takes to retain Billy Donovan as head coach. Is this the right call? What kind of GM/president will you get if they don't get to hire a coach themselves? Wouldn't it be better to make this a clean break of the entire era?

Hour 3: Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL, Craig Counsell chokes on snuff or something else and the Kap & J. Hood Classic Cut of the day.

Hour 2:  MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.  Kap & J Hood discussed no comp picks for the Chicago Bears and change to come to the Chicago Bulls front office. 

Hour 1:  Kap & J. Hood discussed a great weekend across the sports world; the Cubs bullpen woes blow game 2 of the DH.. Ian Happ turned around an all-time bad day with that homer in Game 2. Ben Brown struggled, and it didn't seem like Craig had a great plan for the bullpen behind him. Cabrera was phenomenal in Game 1!  The White Sox sweeps the reigning AL Champs! Colson & Mune with great weekends.. Sox start Grant Taylor not once but twice in an opener role. He'll open Monday's game as well. Interesting strategy, we've got some Brian Bannister sound on using Taylor early.
