BONUS EPISODE: The Healing Era Q & A

I know we've all heard the term "identity crisis." It's a term I've referred to a lot in this season and one I thinks thats been uniquely tossed around a lot in the last few years.  One year ago today, I had what I'd refer to a full blown identity crisis. It was a moment where everything I thought I had known until that day made sense, suddenly didn't and l felt like I was living someone else's life. It was the scary, mostly because I had no idea what was happening, but even more so, no idea how I got to this point...  Today, reflecting back on 1 year,  I'm unpacking what I feel created the perfect storm of a total breaking point and the identity I was living came tumbling down.  I'll be touching on the societal pressure and factors that lead to this, the struggle of feeling lost, and the importance of reclaiming one's true identity, with God's help.  Today we'll be separating out external perceptions from internal truths in hope that you can shed this false sense, piece back the fractures to align with who God says you are and begin to restructure your authentic identity.

Today we're circling back on the topic of friendship loss. I touched this topic in season 1, but it seems that this theme is currently coming up once more.  I can't tell you how many messages I've received in this season so far, sharing how much the series is helping particularly in the area of friendship loss.  It almost seems many of you may be navigating this topic right now- you're IN IT in real time. Today I want to offer a fresh perspective, and more so, a healed and holistic perspective, when it comes to navigating the changes, shifts and sometimes losses around the relationships we call our friendships.

This past week I asked for any and all questions regarding my healing journey and was floored by the overwhelming response. The most pressing being: "I'm so overwhelmed Where do I even begin?" It's okay friend, I have been there too. Today I'm responding to all the questions you guys asked in a special bonus UNCUT hour long episode! 

Today we are covering the trifecta of healing: The Mind, Body, and Soul. When it comes to our own healing journey, we tend to favor one over the other, and while its great to pick a lane to get initial motivation going, ultimately you’ll find these three elements are intricately connected and ultimately non negotiable. Even more than “balance,” I’ll be sharing how the goal is integrating mental health, spiritual connection, and physical well-being as well as  a few personal experiences over the last 18 months on how these elements interact and affect overall health. In this episode, I'm diving into the taboo topic of people pleasing and the cycles that often accompany it. The conversation begins with an exploration of personal patterns and how they manifest in our lives if left unchecked. I'm sharing my own journey of recognizing my people-pleasing tendencies, the impact of external validation, and the importance of self-discovery in a whole new way. Hopefully, this discussion will emphasize the need to break free from societal 'shoulds' and to empower us to make decisions based on personal desires rather than external expectations. It's time We put people pleasing to bed, and end this heinous cycle of self abandonment in the name of "caring."
