Coming from San Francisco's Hunters Point neighborhood, Guce has been a factor in Bay Area rap since the 90s. Before getting into rap, he developed street ties throughout Northern California. His first project was a group, Straight Lace Mob, followed by his own impressive solo career as well as collaboration brand Bullys Wit Fullys. His discography reads like a history of Bay Area rap itself, having worked with Messy Marv, Mac Dre, Jacka, Killa Tay, J. Stalin, and Philthy Rich. Through his label Git Paid Entertainment, he helped launch the careers of artists like Mob Figaz, Larry June, and Mozzy. After fighting an attempted murder case and being wrongfully convicted, he won an appeal and was released after almost 7 years in prison.--For promo opportunities on the podcast, e-mail [email protected] of the Bay Spotify Playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3ZUM4rCv6xfNbvB4r8TVWU?si=9218659b5f4b43aaOnline Store: https://dregsone.myshopify.com Follow Dregs One:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/1UNuCcJlRb8ImMc5haZHXF?si=poJT0BYUS-qCfpEzAX7mlAInstagram: https://instagram.com/dregs_oneTikTok: https://tiktok.com/@dregs_oneTwitter: https://twitter.com/dregs_oneFacebook: https://facebook.com/dregsone41500:00 Intro02:22 Growing up in San Francisco09:10 Getting into the streets12:29 Moving to Sacramento16:31 Bloods & Crips23:28 Starting to rap32:11 Straight Lace Mob, Shadow & Woodie39:07 Pure Pressure49:20 If It Ain’t Real It Ain’t Official58:05 Bullys Wit Fullys1:06:47 Mob Figaz1:12:28 Killa Tay & Agerman1:14:20 Messy Marv1:37:01 The Jacka, Mac Dre1:42:33 J.
