There's an unspoken delicacy of non-verbal communication that travels through skin: Tattooing. In my rainy-shadowed living room sits Carlos Velasquez, my dearly admired tattooist and friend. In the short span of a year knowing each other, we've gone through over 16 tattoo moments (and counting), immersed conversations, spellbinding music and musings.
