On today’s special, extra-long July Fourth show, I tie in the lessons and ideals of the founding fathers to the time we are living in today. Weaving together the final thoughts on the budget reconciliation bill and judicial tyranny, I demonstrate how MAGA Inc. is subverting its own stated beliefs because it’s easier to declare victory on false hope rather than actually fight for results. As I predicted, the Supreme Court ruling on universal injunctions did nothing to stop the judicial tyranny. I list six reasons why that ruling was subversive. Yet MAGA leaders continue to perpetuate the myth of judicial supremacism in the Constitution when it flies in the face of the entire principle we celebrate on July Fourth. We need to have a plan. We are hearing endless excuses as to why the signature budget bill is not achieving its stated goals. The most prevalent excuse is that lawmakers don’t have the votes for conservative legislation. Well, if that is true, it’s because of people like Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), who pushed for Green New Deal subsidies in the bill. So why is there no unified effort to remove people like her who will stand for re-election next year? We’re joined by our first primary challenger of the year, former Iowa state Senator Jim Carlin, who is running for U.S. Senate. It’s time for MAGA Inc. to stop gaslighting us that somehow we are effectively solving the invasion and inflation. Today, I repudiate the vice president’s comments that somehow economics don’t matter because of immigration policy when in fact his economic model is partly responsible for Trump offering farm amnesty. Moreover, he is not accomplishing much on immigration. DeSantis’ Alligator Alcatraz demonstrates how much more the administration could have been accomplishing. Don’t let people offer you false choices between failure theater and desperation. The Florida model is a control group on what could be accomplished. Meanwhile, Florida RINO Byron Donalds is taking credit for ideas he scoffed at and is cozying up to those who tried to prevent DeSantis from enforcing immigration law. Trump promised to cut inflation and to orchestrate mass deportations. However, his fiscal agenda is undermining his ability to find American workers to replace the illegal aliens. Trump is making the case that we need illegal aliens for blue-collar jobs, but today I make the case why it’s his affinity for Medicaid and refusal to cut spending that is actually disincentivizing Americans to take these jobs. The spending and money-printing are making the cost of living unaffordable, plus recipients get free health care without working, so it’s not worth it for Americans to take these jobs. Now Republicans are suffering all the liabilities of cutting spending without actually doing it and reaping the benefits. We begin with a free-for-all Friday rundown of the latest news stories about the terrible reconciliation bill, bad endorsements from Trump, and more signs of stagflation. We’re joined by Hebrew University professor Josh Guetzkow, who just published a pre-print study of a massive population of pregnant women in Israel showing a shocking safety signal from the COVID shots. The COVID shots were associated with a significant increase in fetal deaths among pregnant women who received the shot during the first trimester. Josh discusses how his study is the most airtight to date and how this signal has been ignored until now. We’re joined by Kevin Freeman for an update on the transactional gold movement, the only functional solution to inflation. The movement is on the cusp of adding a fifth state to the list of those that have adopted transactional accounts into law. We discuss the next steps in expeditiously implementing the accounts. We need a solid comptroller in Texas (I’m supporting Don Huffines), and most importantly, Trump must issue an executive order exempting transactional gold from capital gains taxes. Jay Collins (R), fresh off his rescue mission that successfully evacuated 2,000 Americans from Israel. He describes the unique dangers and challenges of that mission and how the partnership between special operators and Florida’s best agency leaders accomplished what nobody else did. Collins explains how there is an entire generation of combat veterans who feel even more passionate about using their expertise to help Americans than they did fighting overseas. The way of the future is expanding on Florida’s model of partnering with charitable organizations and private experts to accomplish what other government cannot do. We begin today by contrasting Trump’s style toward domestic policy and toward foreign policy. His instincts and trolling are a great asset with foreign policy, and we saw this embodied in his willingness to bomb Iran’s nuclear program. On the other hand, the flattery and lack of attention to details is killing us on so many domestic issues. He just wants a “deal” and a talking point. He also believes many of them are simply motivated by Jew-hatred and valorizing stupidity. The online Right is busy criticizing Trump for attacking Iran after the country is already extremely weak. I explain why these commentators continue to utilize false choices and straw-man arguments, a point JD Vance himself made last week. Israel is actually ensuring that we can pull out of the Middle East. The online Right should be more concerned about what Trump is doing domestically. The courts are mowing down every one of his agenda items, and he refuses to lean into the debate in Congress. Now, Republicans are using the Senate parliamentarian to claim they can’t put any good provisions in the one bill they plan to pass with 51 votes. How is it that the entirety of right-leaning media went from loving Israel to hating Israel at lightning speed? I explain how social media creates tunnel vision and precipitates a frenzy of self-confirmation of one’s niche business model whereby the business model drives the fact pattern rather than facts driving the social media brand. We cut through false choices and red herrings about what Israel means and doesn’t mean to America. Also, I explain how there have been numerous opportunities to cut off funding to and lobbying from terror-supporting nations, yet those who yell about foreign aid and influence seem to only care about one country, even as Trump offers new aid to Qatar.
