The CanQueer team hosts the "Big Gay Quiz of the Year", with two teams competing to answer questions about LGBTQ news and events from the past year. The quiz covers topics related to Canada, international news, pop culture, and more.

They reflect on the challenges of holding their own institutions accountable while also celebrating progress, and explain their decision to end the show after over a decade, citing the unsustainable emotional labor involved.
