Ep. 043 | Paranoia or Pursuit? The Chilling Disappearance of Lars Mittank
Lars Mittank, a German tourist, vanished under bizarre and unsettling circumstances in Varna, Bulgaria, in July 2014. After sustaining an ear injury in a fight, he was advised by a doctor to delay his flight home. During his extended stay, he exhibited paranoid behavior, telling his mother he was being followed and acting fearful at his hotel. On the day of his disappearance, security footage captured him sprinting out of Varna Airport, abandoning his belongings, and disappearing into the wilderness, never to be seen again. His case remains one of the most chilling and mysterious missing person cases, sparking theories ranging from foul play and mental breakdowns to conspiracy theories involving organ trafficking or secret pursuits.
